A place where children learn, see, and become the face of Christ.
6th, 7th and 8th GRADE MIDDLE SCHOOL FAITH FORMATION
All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to grow in their faith through our exciting and interactive middle school programming. We will cover the major areas of Catholic formation during these years as students study God, Revelation and Faith, Jesus the Christ, The Holy Spirit and the Church, Liturgy and Sacraments, Christian Morality and Justice, and Prayer. Youth will be encouraged to apply what they learn to their daily lives and will discuss how their faith is being lived out. Besides “class” sessions youth are encouraged to participate in weekly liturgies, youth ministry, and service opportunities offered throughout the year.
Please see the calendar on the left Navigation Pane for scheduling information.
Faith Formation Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm: 9-11, 10-2, 11-6, 12-4, 1-8, 1-31, 2-5, 3-12, 4-2
All three grades will meet on the first available Wednesday of the month for Faith Formation. On the other Wednesdays of the month, they are invited to attend Youth Ministry Nights in the Youth Room! We will have something 3-4 Wednesdays per month available for ALL Middle School Grades!
Every class session will be designed to be engaging, interactive, and challenging. Students will meet as a whole group, but will have small groups for deeper discussion and activity surrounding the lesson. Various prayer experiences will be included with each class.
Parents are urged to consider volunteering in the middle school program as a Middle School Mentor!
